Christian small group is an intentional gathering of 4-12 people on a regular basis with the common purpose of discovering and growing in their walk with Christ.

Small Groups are the most effective way to get to build friendships and grow spiritually.  

They provide a place of belonging, fun, safety, honesty, encouragement and growth.  

Small group leaders are being trained now in preparation for launching the ministry the beginning of September.

 

Being connected to a small group is important because a few decades ago, there were three guarantees that held society together:

            1. The extended family

            2. The guaranteed job

            3. The secure neighborhood.

Grandma lived next door. The job was for life and the neighborhood church was around the corner. All of that has changed.

Today, grandparents see you at Christmas, Mom and Dad fight to keep their jobs, and the neighborhood is protected by security devices.

We have two cars, three bedrooms, two and a half baths, a boat, a bike, an entertainment center with surround sound, a vacation at the beach and we are running scared because we have no one to call when things get tough at 3 a.m.
